So was a big day. I turned 26. 26 years of craziness in my life. I must say though that my wife, Michelle, made it a wonderful day. Here's a quick run down of what happened:
- Michelle surprises me with breakfast (usually my job in morning)
- and a Lunch! (also my job)
- the first present...a new v-neck t-shirt! (so good except it was like -7 outside, but I wore it anyways)
- Because of the storm over the night, my car door was frozen shut. (first time in 6 years of living in MN)
- After two warm kettles of water, finally got it open and went to work.
- Got a birthday treat from our Associate Pastor son (whose b-day is today)
- Also got a big package of Buster Bar's from DQ. (I am gonna get fat from all this!)
- My bro surprised me with helping me pay for skiing at Vick's Bachelor weekend.
- Got home, opened cards from Grandparents and Mom. (I love my family)
- Best gift of the day: Golf gift card to my favorite course! (thanks to my beautiful wife)
- Went to Dinner at Barrio tequila bar in Downtown Minneapolis. (been wanting to eat there for a while, so good!!!)
- Went to McCoys for drinks and desert only to be surprised by my friends Jimmy & Laura, Vick and Dover.
It was a wonderful b-day, so glad I got to spend it with my wife and to have a few unexpected surprises along the way.
